No, you remain fully aware and in control during hypnosis. You can't be made to do anything against your will or value and you can bring yourself out of the hypnotic state at any time.
Yes. Although I also do sessions in person, most of my sessions are done remotely via Zoom. As long as there is a quiet environment and the person is able to focus, hypnosis can be effective remotely.
